The School of Statistics and Data Science, Nankai University conducted the 2019 ICSA China Conference, with a topic of “Theories and Applications of Statistics”, between July 2 and July 4 2019. The conference was attended by experts, scholars and professionals in statistics from over 10 countries and regions worldwide.

The 19th National Seminar on Statistical Science for Young and Middle-aged Statisticians was held from November 5 to 6, 2022, with the theme of Development of Statistical Science in the Era of Digital Economy, organized by the Chinese Statistical Association and the Editorial Board of Statistical Research and hosted by Nankai University. More than 200 experts, scholars, teachers and students from the National Bureau of Statistics, the Chinese Statistical Association, the Editorial Board of Statistical Research, the Beijing Bureau of Statistics of Beijing, the Tianjin Bureau of Statistics, Peking University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Xiamen University, Nanjing University, Tongji University, Jinan University, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and Nankai University attended the seminar. 

During July 7-9, 2023, the Second International Workshop on Statistical Theory and Related Fields (STARF 2023) was held at Nankai University. The conference was initiated by the editorial office of Statistical Theory and Related Fields(STARF) and co-sponsored by the Chinese Society of Applied Statistics, School of Statistics of East China Normal University and School of Statistics and Data Science of Nankai University.
